Logbook for refrigeration systems in accordance with F-Gas Regulations (EC) Nr. 842 / 2006, section 3 (July, 4 2007) and Ozone Depleting Substances Regulation, section 4 to reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases (covered by the Kyoto Protocol)

Operators of refrigeration equipment containing 3kg or more of fluorinated greenhouse gases must ensure that maintenance and leak checks are carried out on a regular basis. All performed maintenance and servicing must be recorded in a logbook.
Recorded data include:

  • Equipment data
  • Leak checks
  • Refrigerant leak rate
  • Reports on repair and maintenance services
  • Quantity of refrigerant / quantity of refrigeration oil

These records have to be made available to the competent authority upon request.
